Director of Business Development & Operations
Josephine Atluri joined BodyBurn by Ray as a member in 2015 participating in group classes as well as small group training sessions. An avid exercise enthusiast since high school, Josephine has always incorporated fitness into her life. She enjoys participating in thrilling races every few years such as various 5k and 10k races, duathalons, the Tough Mudder race, the Men’s Health Urbanatholon, and most recently a Grand Canyon Death March.
Josephine’s competitive drive is also evidenced in her school and work career. Josephine graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. Upon graduating, she worked as a management consultant at Ernst and Young, LLP helping finance and eCommerce companies with their strategic vision and operational development. Josephine took a hiatus from the business world to get her Associate's degree from the Culinary Institute of Art where she studied classical French cooking, another passion of hers. After graduation, Josephine became a catering manager. Later, she combined her consulting background with her catering and special events experience to start her own event planning business called Esenjay Events, Inc. Josephine successfully ran her own business for more than five years then took a break in her career to raise her five children.
After working out at BodyBurn by Ray for over a year and a half, Josephine knew she had landed upon something truly unique and special in the fitness industry. She decided to combine her passion for fitness, organizational management, and her love of the BodyBurn by Ray business model to join the amazing team as their operations guru. Armed with a definitive vision and strategy, Josephine is excited to take BodyBurn by Ray to the next level and turn the fitness industry upside down.
